My counselling approach draws upon my education and experience in psychology, counselling and health promotion. I use an eclectic blend of evidence-based techniques within a person-centred framework, drawing upon Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative and Solution-Focused therapies. I am currently training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).

I work alongside you in therapy, personalising each session to your individual preferences, needs, and goals to support you in making changes that align with your authentic self.

The focus of sessions is guided by you, but may include:

  • Exploring and managing burnout and fluctuating energy levels.

  • Exploring your values.

  • Self-compassionate goal setting to get stuff done.

  • Working with uncomfortable feelings.

  • Exploring self-narrative (stories we tell ourselves about the world and how we live in it).

  • NDIS Progress Reporting (upon request).

  • Communication with medical and allied health professionals (upon request).

  • Late-diagnosed and identified neurodivergent people.

  • People with chronic health conditions.

  • Adults wanting guidance navigating life changes.

  • Adults seeking to improve their relationship with themselves.

Neurodivergent Coaching

(including AuDHD, Autism, ADHD)

$110 for 60 mins

As a neurodivergent coach, I provide guided peer support.

Sessions involve identifying changes you would like to make, setting goals, and learning techniques and strategies to use at home, in the community, or in the workplace.

During these sessions, I provide guided peer support as someone with lived experience, walking beside you.

Areas of focus may include:

  • Managing burnout and fluctuating energy levels.

  • Building self-advocacy skills to engage more effectively in workplace, educational, health and community settings.

  • Managing transitions from high school to study and/or work, including accessing supports.

  • Self-compassionate goal setting to get stuff done.

  • Supporting sensory and emotional regulation.

  • Some independent work on exercises outside of session with guided reflection and discussion during sessions.

  • Opportunities for shadowing / practicing skills during sessions.

Suitable for:

  • Late-diagnosed and identified neurodivergent people.

  • People with chronic health conditions.

  • Young people considering post-school study and/or career and work options.

  • Peri-menopausal and menopausal women.

  • Adults considering career options or navigating other life changes.

Psychosocial Recovery Coaching

$110 (60 mins)

Psychosocial Recovery Coaching is an NDIS Service to support participants to link in and engage with NDIS, mainstream and community services.

I recommend best-fit services that are evidence-based, neuro-affirming, and trauma-informed.

Areas of focus may include:

  • Identifying and linking in with evidence-based, neuro-affirming, and trauma-informed services.

  • Building self-advocacy skills to engage more effectively in workplace, educational, health and community settings.

  • Identifying and working with your strengths.

  • Managing burnout and fluctuating energy levels.

  • Self-compassionate goal setting to get stuff done.

Suitable for:

  • NDIS participants with Psychosocial Recovery Coaching funding under Capacity Building.
